Prunus domestica is a species of flowering plant in the family Rosaceae. A deciduoustree, it includes many varieties of the fruit trees known as plums in English. This type of plant is cultivated in all Europe and in the United States. Plums are sold fresh or dehydrated and they are composed mainly of water and vitamins A, B1, B2 and C. Plums are fruits with a lot of healthy properties, in particular they are good for our intestine.
